And his whole family speaks Spanish fluently (and Beej and I met in a Spanish class so it’s kind of perfect). So….they’re Chinese, from Hawaii, who speak Spanish. Makes total sense.

So his family is cool. My family took awhile to warm up to him, but he’s seriously part of our family now. He comes to our dinners and holidays and everyone just loves him. My youngest brother Joey calls him Geebay (backwards Bj) and Beej calles him OG (backwards Joey). So….it’s cool. It makes me so happy that our families mix well.

He’s trying to pick up one more deployment before his contract is up just because it’s a really easy way to save money, but after that he’ll probably leave the Corps. The economy is what it is, and he has a great job right now that he’s really happy with, so he’ll probably stay with that unless something better comes up.
With Beej is really the only thing that matters. :) He just bought a house in norcal, and my ideal location would be socal, but it’s still a few years away and we haven’t decided anything yet, so I’m not too worried.
